The distance between Kishiwada and Kobe is around 60km. We took around half (by Nankai railway and changing Hanshin Railway at Namba Station) and an hour and cost around 900JPY from Kishiwada to Sannomiya.
The weather in Kobe was really bad. The sky was cloudy and raining outside. After leaving our luggage in the hotel, we decided to take a train from Motomachi to Himeji for another hour.
The solemn castle was located at the end of Otemae Street. We saw lots of bronze statues along the street, which I thought their style not matched with the castle. This wide and straight road was well maintained. It created a perspective view from the train station to the castle.
本打算在神戶市內一日遊，不過當日神户天氣欠佳，除了異常寒冷外，街上也落著毛毛細雨，從天氣app看到姫路無雨，決定更改行程，前往姫路，參觀姫路城。
我們由酒店出發，穿過中華街，中華街的後方是元町站，坐JR前往姫路，車程約一小時，車資約1000円，沿途風光也不錯，由大城市到海邊，由海邊再到田園，灰陰的天色，加上代表着嚴冬的枯枝，不禁多了一種蒼涼的感覺。
到達姫路站後，從火車站已經可以望到位於中央筆直大道盡頭的姫路城。這種幾近一望無際的透視感，還有相對疏落的車輛和行人，更顯得遠處城堡的莊嚴。
我們逐步走近姫路城，通往姫路城的大道兩傍保養得宜，路面似乎是在近年重鋪過，除了鋪滿雪的植物外，也放置了不少雕像，甚有格調，絕非香港一般街道可以比較，不過和城堡，似乎不太配合。
